Where the Light Found Me explores that fleeting moment when light transforms an ordinary landscape into something that stays with us.

Softened forms, layered colour and shifting areas of light allow the landscape to move between what was seen and what is remembered. Rather than documenting a place exactly, the painting holds onto the feeling of being there — the warmth of the light, the openness of the landscape and the quiet pause it creates.

Balancing atmospheric abstraction with selective areas of realism, Where the Light Found Me reflects my ongoing exploration of light, memory and our connection to place.
